To my fellow island roamers

Hello! 

My name is Marz and I am a born and raised Trinidadian, with a big passion for adventure. 7 years ago I moved to the U.S. to start college in Colorado and, with that, left my family and best friends back in Trinidad. In my time up here, I've always struggled to find that means of wearing my heart and home on my sleeve with style and subtlety. My strive to do so was never a matter of making everyone around me aware of my Trinidadian culture, but more a matter of discreetly reaching out to a fellow islander who may be passing by and ultimately unleashing that sweet, unrestrained Trini accent... “Buh ay ay! You'z a Trini? Which part yuh from?”

While IZA (I-zah) Islander at its core is an apparel line, the concept and purpose is much bigger than just that. IZA Islander was created in support of those daring to venture out of the Caribbean region and with that, the brand strives to promote Caribbean unity and pride beyond the island latitudes.

IZA Islander was born out of bittersweet emotions, for as much as my hot foot has kept me venturing, my spirit and energy was and will always be tied to home. I am excited to offer a uniquely-designed, high quality and fit for purpose apparel line that equips any island traveler with a piece of home wherever they choose to roam. 

I believe the Caribbean has so much to offer the world, and I hope that IZA Islander can be a part of your journey in spreading the island vibes for as far and long as the Soca remains sweet.
